Major Duties

• Manage the full lifecycle of the Task Management Tool (TMT) by performing daily reviews, assigning actions, tracking tasks to closure, and compiling data-driven updates to keep senior leadership fully informed during staff meetings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including J6 Enterprise Support Activity (ESA) Support Agreement Managers (SAMs), to streamline support agreements, resolve operational bottlenecks, and ensure policies are consistently executed.
• Serve as the primary liaison with external entities to manage complex inter-agency agreements, including G-Invoicing (FS 7600A/B), Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs), and Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs).
• Represent J6 interests in critical working groups and planning forums, including the J8 Finance G-Invoicing Working Group and the DLA Agreement Program Community of Practice (DAPCOP), providing key subject matter expertise.
• Maintain and administer essential knowledge management and collaboration platforms, specifically overseeing the J6 SAM SharePoint site to ensure information is organized, accessible, and secure.
• Gather critical data and technical inputs for recurring high-priority tasks, such as Situational Report (SITREP) and Significant Activity (SIGACT), ensuring leadership has access to timely, accurate, and actionable operational intelligence.
• Apply innovative technologies and modern methodologies to optimize workload management, and improve organizational efficiency within daily operations.

Qualification Summary

To qualify for a Strategic IT Business Operations Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support: A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Coordinating, gathering, and synthesizing operational inputs from multiple departments to draft and edit high-priority recurring reports Managing and prioritizing a high volume of organizational tasks utilizing enterprise-level workflow systems, including assigning actions, tracking progress to closure, and synthesizing status updates for leadership Serving as a primary point of contact to coordinate programmatic goals across business units and representing team interests in collaborative working groups Facilitating, reviewing, or administering inter-agency agreements and financial instruments (such as G-Invoicing, FS 7600A/B forms, Memorandums of Agreement [MOAs], or Memorandums of Understanding [MOUs]) Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
