Job Opportunity: Physician in Anesthesiology and Acute Pain Management

Our organization is on the lookout for an exceptional physician to deliver general anesthesia and acute pain management services at our facility, UPMC Mercy hospital. Ideal candidates should be board-eligible or certified by the ABA, have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in acute pain management, and hold or be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.

About UPMC Mercy

UPMC Mercy is a 488-bed tertiary care facility located in the uptown area of Pittsburgh. With a storied past as the first permanent hospital in the city and the inaugural Mercy hospital globally, it continues to provide faith-based care, particularly to underserved populations in the region.

As the only Catholic hospital in the area, UPMC Mercy offers specialized services in women's health, neurology, thoracic care, and orthopedics. Case selection encompasses nearly all areas except solid organ transplants, with highlights including voice procedures, airway modifications, robotic surgeries, thoracic operations, trauma care, orthopedic procedures, vascular surgeries, neurosurgery, and complex maxillofacial surgeries.
