Starting base salary: $65-85K

Summary
Create custom reception desk, nurse station, paneling, and other architectural millwork parts in AutoCAD for CNC processing. Work closely with project management to ensure project details are incorporated into the custom work.

Responsibilities
-Support the production process using CNC optimization software for nesting output cabinet and custom parts.
-Review shop drawings for accuracy and conformance with project details and specifications.
-Maintain and develop methods and standards for shop drawings and production details.
-Support custom builders assembling the work with relevant details and drawings.
-Outsource and manage shop drawing submittals for awarded projects.
-Compile and submit tech/product data as a part of project submittals.
-Incorporate architectural drawing revisions into shop drawings.

Requirements
-The production engineer is deadline driven, communicates well, organized, self- managed, and motivated.
-Experience and knowledge of millwork production/fabrication process
-Project-related tasks in support of project management as assigned
-Ability to work on multiple projects progressing towards deadlines
-Thorough and advanced knowledge of AutoCAD 2D functions
-Experience and knowledge of AWI standards
-Office productivity software skills
