IT Technical Support Specialist

$28.85/hour and Excellent Benefits Package OVERVIEW The IT Technical Support Specialist provides technical support within a HIPAA-regulated environment to the Information Technology Department, assisting users and maintaining technology equipment across agency locations from North Smithfield to Westerly, Rhode Island. This position delivers comprehensive and reliable support to computer and network users under direct supervision. Will maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades, and replaces hardware and software as needed. Supports and manages user account information, including access rights, security, and system group memberships. Assists with the implementation and deployment of new systems, software, and hardware. Includes providing limited weekend coverage for critical system failures and emergencies. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology 2 Years of experience in providing computer support Strong computer skills including installation, configuration and troubleshooting experience.
