Department & Unit Summary An LPN clinic is a healthcare setting where LPNs provide patient care under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) or physicians. In these clinics LPNs perform a variety of tasks, including taking vital signs, administering medications, assisting with minor procedures, providing patient education, and supporting routine healthcare services. Responsibilities Take vital signs and assess patient condition. Administer medications as ordered by RNs or physicians. Assist with minor procedures and patient education. Provide support for routine healthcare services and ensure patient comfort. Document patient care and collaborate with the interprofessional team. Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. One year of experience preferred. ASLS certification preferred.
