Warehouse Associate / Backup Local Delivery Driver

Position: Warehouse Associate / Backup Local Delivery Driver
Employment Type: Full-Time (Temp to Perm)

About the Role

We are looking for a dependable, motivated team member to join our electric motor distribution warehouse. This position is primarily responsible for warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping electric motors and related products.

When needed, this employee will also serve as a backup local delivery driver, ensuring customers receive orders safely and on time.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory and keep the warehouse clean and organized.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory control.
• Safely operate company vehicles for local customer deliveries as needed.
• Verify delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures.
• Follow all warehouse and driving safety procedures.
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers.
• Perform simple modifications to motors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus (training available if needed).
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping functions.

Competitive hourly pay - $20 per hour Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday – Thursday 8am to 4pm Fridays (Opportunity for Overtime)
