Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Mount Carmel Grove City - Full Time Days

Employment Type Full time Schedule Three 12‑hour day shifts per week (7:00 am–7:30 pm) with rotating weekends and holidays. Position Purpose The Registered Nurse (RN), within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. The RN collaborates in the spirit of teamwork and is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the organization. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care, ensure an environment of patient safety, promote evidence-based practice and quality initiatives, and exhibit professionalism in nursing practice aligned with the ANCC Magnet Recognition Program. Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients, utilizing evidence‑based practice. Collaborate with patients and families to develop and implement a plan of care that includes physical, spiritual, and educational components. Accurately communicate pertinent information to appropriate team members in a timely manner and keep patients/families apprised and updated. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and completely in accordance with documentation standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines. Assume responsibility and accountability for care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed caregivers as appropriate. Minimum Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio. For Casual RN positions, a minimum of 2 years of experience is required. New graduate nurses with less than one year of clinical experience will be automatically enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.
