Crew LeaderThe Crew Leader is responsible for leading a team of employees to complete daily and weekly tasks and on time. They will be also responsible for recording and reporting time length to complete each task.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaTrain and motivate team members to reach daily productionConduct crew meetings to provide clear instruction on daily taskEnsure safety policies are being followed at all timeResponsible of setting all work areaInspect quality of all productsResponsible to keep open communication with Manager and DirectorsResponsible to complete all daily reportsEnsure employees follow safety requirements and operations processesOther duties as assigned by managementMinimum Qualifications1+ year(s) experience in a leadership role1+ year(s) experience in Manufacturing/Warehouse environment1+ year(s) experience in horticulture growingStrong leadership skills and ability to give/receive constructive feedbackEffective verbal and written communication skills.Basic math skillsAbility to work and communicate across multiple departmentsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to problem solve, troubleshoot, and seek solutions to problemsDetailed-oriented with the ability to multitaskMust be able to work in various types of weather conditionsAbility to work flexible hours and overtime as neededPreferred QualificationsBasic Office 365 skills in Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPointJob Setting & Physical DemandsThis position is primarily outdoors but may be required to work between locations and within an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may require the use of computers and standard office equipment. Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens. There are occasional needs to work in confined spaces. Position requires long-term ability for standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties. Candidate must have the ability to operate all machinery necessary within the department and across the facility, including but not limited to operating the table lifter and get certified and operate on internal vehicles.Employee must have the ability to lift 35 pounds unaided, and regularly lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
