AMZL Sr. Station Leaders are responsible for all budgetary, people development and operations objectives for an Amazon Logistics Delivery Station (DS). They manage and lead a team of Operations, Area and Shift Managers, coach and mentor the team to ensure performance objectives are met, build positive employee relations, and develop leadership bench strength. Key Responsibilities Overall safety, quality, performance, customer experience and people development for all delivery station operations. Drive vision for station team and create quality, process change, lean initiatives to meet and exceed the business plan. Problem‑solve gaps between performance and goals. Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations, Area and Shift Managers; measure performance, provide feedback and hold Ops Managers accountable. Manage an environment for delivery of Amazon orders directly to customers, operating 24/7. Maintain day‑to‑day relationships with multiple Delivery Service Providers (DSPs). Present operational metrics regularly to the senior leadership team. Hire and develop top talent; implement a talent plan including acquisition, performance, career management, learning and development, succession planning, and employee engagement. Leverage the Operations, Area and Shift Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas, incorporating them into improvement plans. Cultivate a strong culture and engagement throughout all levels of the delivery station team. Take proactive steps to ensure best practices are shared across departments, shifts and the network. Collaborate with key business partners such as Transport & Sortation, DSP Management, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES and Engineering to secure support and resources for projects and initiatives. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 7+ years’ direct management experience in a logistics, fulfillment, last‑mile manufacturing, engineering, production or distribution environment. Track record of delivering performance and financial results in high‑pressure environments. Experience with performance metrics, process improvement and lean techniques. Experience with full lifecycle staffing: interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and terminations. Strong analytical capability; proven ability to analyze data and devise solutions for operational problems. Excellent communication skills in local language and English, written and verbal. Experience managing third‑party resources on a regional/national scale. Experience managing contingent workforce in a business with peak seasons. Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including overnight, weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field; MBA preferred. Experience in a startup environment. Ability to handle changing priorities and exercise good judgment in stressful situations. Interest in long‑term career development.
