We have an exciting opportunity for a **Production Specialist** at our **Maxton NC** site.VISA Sponsorship is not available for this position.Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.This role will be on-site at the Corteva location.**What You’ll Do:*** Work closely with a variety of internal and external parties to coordinate the delivery of seed from regional growers into the plant by recruiting, managing, and dispatching a fleet of independent freight haulers.* Monitor daily demand and ensure time and quality commitments are met.* Utilize systems such as SAP/R3 to ensure accurate material movement.* Optimize inventory levels of raw materials, finished goods and packaging.* Provide information to relevant parties regarding order fulfillment and other activities.* Work closely across various departments and sites to schedule and establish priorities of production POs.* Coordinate production runs with affected parties to optimize efficiencies and meet schedule deadlines* Develop scheduling metrics and utilize problem solving tools to determine root cause of inefficiencies* Initiate, support, and pursue continuous cost improvements and LEAN events* Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements* Complete and maintain records in accordance with the Corteva Records Retention Policy.* Other duties as assigned.**Education:*** You have your High School Diploma/GED.**What Skills You Need:*** Comfortable analyzing information and making data driven decisions* Always work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safely every day.* Initiative to find and implement a solution when you see a problem and notice an opportunity for improvement* Demonstrate exceptional skills in building rapport and trust with colleagues* Proficient computer skills that enable effective analysis and interpretation of data using a variety of tools* Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.* Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills* Possess high attention to detail, can multitask, maintain an organized workplace, and have excellent problem-solving skills.* Proactive, communicate concerns, and adaptable* Hold a valid US driver’s license, so you can drive a company vehicle to field locations when needed* You are willing and able to work a flexible work schedule including; overtime hours, nights, and weekends to meet business needs during peak season.See what it’s like to work at our Seed Production locations, please visit : – How We’ll Support You:*** Numerous development opportunities offered to build your skills* Be part of a company with a higher purpose and contribute to making the world a better place* Health benefits for you and your family on your first day of employment* Four weeks of paid time off and two weeks of well-being pay per year, plus paid holidays* Excellent parental leave which includes a minimum of 16 weeks for mother and father* Future planning with our competitive retirement savings plan and tuition reimbursement program* Learn more about our total rewards package here - Corteva Benefits* Check out life at Corteva! you a good match?
