Rehabilitation/Mobility Technician

These roles focus on helping patients recover from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries and improve their physical, emotional, and functional well‑being under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, occupational therapist or occupational therapist assistant, speech language pathologist, or nurse. Involves planning and providing therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' abilities to perform daily activities and achieve their rehabilitation/mobility goals. These roles are responsible for providing a range of rehabilitation and therapy services across multiple disciplines. Staff and leaders in these positions may deliver care in areas such as physical, occupational, and speech therapies, addressing diverse patient needs and promoting overall recovery and well‑being. Individual contributors with responsibility in a clinical discipline or specialty spend the majority of the time in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Opportunities for progression outside this career stream are typically limited without additional education or significant training and experience. A specialty license or certification required, which is acquired through training and/or experience. This career stream will be most commonly applied to patient care areas. Entry‑level position typically requiring little to no prior knowledge or experience and requiring vocational or technical education. Work is routine or follows standard procedures. Work is closely supervised. Communicates information that requires little explanation or interpretation. Minimum Requirements Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent Experience: No experience required Licensure: American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods and frequently bending/stooping/traveling. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull 20 – 50lbs. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The starting base rate for this role is $15.00 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
