Maintenance Supervisor - Apartment Community

Overview Monarch Investment and Management Group is looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Preston Oaks Apartments in Louisville. We are offering up to $32/hr plus $1,000 quarterly bonuses, full benefits, tool reimbursement, and 2 weeks paid time off. Compensation and Benefits $30.00 to $32.00 per hour Quarterly Supervisor bonus, up to $4,000 per year On-Call Bonus: $100 per week when on call; minimum 1.5 hours of pay for any call $50 On-Call Bonus paid per day for any major holiday worked 401k planning and pre-tax contributions with a 3% matching component Blue Cross / Blue Shield Medical Insurance for $45 per month (employee only) Vision and Disability Insurance Paid EPA Certification training (in-house trainers visit you) 9 Paid Holidays Paid Time Off: 1st Year = 80 hours; 2-4 Years = 120 hours; 5+ Years = 160 hours 20% rent discount at owned communities (terms apply) Paid additional training/school Tuition reimbursement program Yearly anniversary gifts Tool reimbursement up to $500 per year Power tool battery exchange program Winter boot reimbursement program Pant reimbursement program Discount programs at partnered companies (e.g., Verizon, Expedia, Office Depot and more) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority Make Ready / Turning Units between tenants Painting/Staining (interior and exterior) Collaborate with Property Manager on monthly budget review Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program Exterior structural maintenance as needed Manage coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone Knowledge, Skills and Experience 5+ years’ experience in maintenance 2+ years in multi-family housing preferred Experience managing/supervising 2+ employees Experience managing maintenance in up to 200 units Drywalling including painting and carpentry Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures A physical demonstration of ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
