This person will have a genuine interest in geriatric care and be able to motivate while maintaining relationships with staff and residents. The right candidate will always strive to do the best job possible, to be creative, and to work toward accomplishing facility goals.Position Summary:The primary assignment of the dietary aide is to provide assistance in all food functions as directed/instructed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures. This includes the responsibilities and duties listed below:Accountabilities:Prepares trays/plates following instruction given either in writing or verbally.Use portion control procedures.Performs routine sanitation responsibilities as assigned by supervisor using required cleaning and sanitizing agents.Transfers supplies and equipment from loading docks to storerooms and/or other locations.
