OR Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift 4x10
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Shift: 4x10 hours (07:00 - 17:30)
Weekend Coverage: Required (4 shifts per 6-week schedule)
On-call: 4 calls per 6-week period with a 1-hour response time
Holiday Coverage: Required as scheduled
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled OR Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in various surgical procedures and provide high-quality patient care in the operating room. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional surgical nursing support.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures and provide support to the surgical team.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during operations.
- Monitor patient vitals and maintain the sterile environment.
- Administer medications and IVs as per protocol.
- Provide patient education and support post-surgery.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active RN license in the state of Maryland or Compact License.
- Required Certifications: BLS, CNOR.
- Charge experience preferred.
- Experience with Epic charting system is a plus.
