Associate needed for Armonk office

Job Overview A highly regarded law firm is seeking highly qualified law school graduates and judicial clerks for associate positions across its U.S. offices. Lateral candidates with experience in commercial litigation are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting pleadings, and managing document review. While in-court experience is preferred, it is not a requirement. This position offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic litigation team. Location Armonk, NY Duties Handle discovery processes, including document review and production. Take and defend depositions in commercial litigation matters. Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to litigation. Assist in trial preparation, including case strategy and legal research. Participate in hearings, motions, and case management conferences. Provide litigation support at various stages of the process, from pre-trial to post-trial. Work closely with senior attorneys on commercial litigation cases. Requirements Experience in commercial litigation, including discovery, depositions, and document review. In-court experience is preferred but not required. Outstanding academic credentials. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bar admission in the jurisdiction of your office of interest or eligibility to obtain admission promptly. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle discovery and manage document review effectively. Experience taking and defending depositions. Excellent legal research and analytical skills. Attention to detail in drafting pleadings and motions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. In-court experience is a plus.
