Position Summary

The Project Manager is a key operational leader responsible for overseeing the day-to-day performance and service delivery across multiple client sites. This role ensures that operations are running smoothly, staff are well-managed, quality standards are met, and client relationships are maintained with a high level of satisfaction. The Project Manager will lead a team of site supervisors and frontline employees, focusing on accountability, consistency, and customer service excellence.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000

What You'll Own

• Full operational accountability across multiple school locations
• Direct management and development of site leads, porters, and floaters
• Translating inspection data into clear, actionable insights for both the client and internal leadership
• Personnel scheduling, zero gaps in coverage, day and night shifts
• Primary point of contact with client leadership
• Daily and weekly reporting using digital tools and photo/video documentation
• Building and maintaining operational spreadsheets in Google Sheets, tracking KPIs, inspection trends, staffing coverage, and client deliverables
• Reading performance dashboards to identify trends and act before issues escalate
• Training and onboarding every team member on scope of work, safety protocols, and expectations
• Supply tracking and consumable management across all sites
• Responding to escalations with speed, accuracy, and professionalism

What We're Looking For

• Bilingual English/Spanish, required
• 3+ years in facilities management, janitorial operations, or building services
• Charter school or education environment experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and hold teams accountable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable with inspection apps, dashboards, and scheduling platforms
• Data-driven, reads checkpoint scores, identifies patterns, acts proactively
• Customer service mindset, student health and safety drive every decision
• On-call availability evenings and weekends as needed

Physical Demands:  Stand, walk, or sit alternately, depending on specific daily demands. Infrequent lifting and/or carrying of bulk supplies weighing up to 25+ pounds (with assistance as necessary). Up to 25% of the time may have to perform the following physical activities: bend/stoop/squat: crawl: climb stairs/ladder: kneel” push or pull: twists torso: reach above shoulder level. Talking. Expressing or exchanging ideas using the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures. The employee may be subjected to long periods of sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.

Environmental Conditions: The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.

Mental Demands:  There are several deadlines associated with this position, which may cause significant stress.
