Pricing Manager - (Ref: 196937)

A fast-growing global industrial and automation solutions business is looking for a hands‑on Pricing Manager to help lead the next stage of its pricing analytics capability. This is a highly analytical leadership role, focused on building data‑driven pricing strategies, developing pricing models, improving margin performance, and helping shape an in‑house price optimisation engine. The business is moving quickly, with multiple entities requiring pricing support across different customers, data platforms and commercial environments. This role would suit someone who can operate at both strategic and technical levels — confident speaking with senior leaders, but still hands‑on enough to work with data, models and analytics teams. Manage and mentor a team of pricing analysts, supporting development and delivery Lead the creation of data‑driven pricing strategies aligned to revenue, margin and profitability goals Build and improve pricing models covering elasticity, segmentation, demand forecasting and price optimisation Help develop an in‑house pricing optimisation engine using advanced analytics and machine learning techniques Analyse large, messy and sometimes incomplete datasets across sales, customer, market and competitor data Partner with senior stakeholders to understand pricing challenges and translate analysis into clear recommendations Work cross‑functionally with teams across finance, product, marketing and commercial leadership Oversee competitive intelligence and market benchmarking to support pricing decisions Present pricing insights and recommendations in a clear, commercial and actionable way Continuously assess pricing performance and improve processes as the business evolves Key Requirements - Pricing Manager: 5+ years’ experience in pricing analytics, revenue management, commercial analytics, data science or a similar analytical role Strong hands‑on capability with SQL, Python, R and/or advanced Excel Experience building pricing models, optimisation models, demand forecasting or elasticity analysis Previous experience managing, mentoring or leading analysts Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Comfortable translating complex data into commercial recommendations for non‑technical stakeholders Experience working with messy, incomplete or complex datasets MRO, industrial, manufacturing, automation, distribution or B2B pricing experience would be highly beneficial Able to work in an extremely fast‑paced environment with changing priorities #J-18808-Ljbffr Forsyth Barnes
