Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Summary:

Provides direct and indirect patient care to clinic patients and their families, utilizing nursing processes such as comprehensive assessment, care plan development, patient education, and ongoing evaluation. Delivers personalized, holistic care within the operating room setting to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient needs thoroughly to inform individualized nursing care plans.
  
  
• 
  Develop, implement, and coordinate interdisciplinary care strategies that incorporate psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
  
  
• 
  Administer nursing interventions, including scrub and circulate duties, particularly within cardiac, hepatobiliary, robotic, spine, and ophthalmology services.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members to promote seamless care delivery.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital-specific policies, including timely documentation and ongoing education.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid California RN license with uploaded verification within the last 2 weeks.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience, including scrub and circulate skills.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS (AHA) certification.
  
  
• 
  Experience in operating room settings, especially in cardiac and specialty surgical procedures.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and overtime support.
