Operations Manager (Non-Complex)

Position Summary This role leads community outreach programs, builds relationships with community partners, and represents Walmart at external events. It champions sustainability efforts, ensures compliance with company policies, and holds hourly associates accountable for performance and safety. The position also implements and monitors asset protection, safety controls, and quality assurance standards. It oversees safety and operational reviews, develops process improvements, and supports customer service initiatives. Assist the store manager in achieving financial goals by reviewing PL statements, controlling expenses, and forecasting budget trends. Promote a culture of belonging and inclusion while encouraging associates to serve the community. Responsibilities Lead community outreach programs and build relationships with community partners. Ensure compliance with company policies and hold hourly associates accountable. Implement and monitor asset protection, safety controls, and quality assurance standards. Supervise and develop hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and performance evaluation. Model exceptional customer service using Walmart's One Best Way (OBW) service model. Assist store manager in achieving financial goals by reviewing PL statements, controlling expenses, and forecasting budget trends. Communicate expectations clearly and promote a culture of belonging and inclusion. Qualifications Minimum: 2 years of college OR 1 year of retail experience + 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years of general work experience + 1 year supervisory experience. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership (Live Better U program), experience supervising 5+ direct reports, performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
