Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Occupational Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). The Occupational Therapist will support students in developing the skills necessary for participation in school activities, with a focus on fine motor development, sensory integration, and functional independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to determine student needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and related service providers
• Support classroom staff with strategies to meet students' sensory and motor needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
• Communicate effectively with families and school staff
• Attend MTSS meetings as needed

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or OTD in Occupational Therapy
• Current Rhode Island Occupational Therapy license
• NBCOT certification required
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of sensory integration and school-based interventions
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team

Schedule: Part-time: 3 days per week (schedule to be determined)
