Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry

Location: Las Cruces, NM

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Varied shifts; includes 36 guaranteed hours with every other weekend required.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive care for medical/surgical and telemetry patients. This role involves closely monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient and effective patient care. The RN must demonstrate excellent clinical skills and a commitment to compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on managing their health conditions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required. Candidates must hold a valid RN license and current BLS certification.
