Assembler This role focuses on assembling radiators designed for compatibility with electric vehicles as part of a major growth initiative. You will read and follow detailed instructions, use hand and power tools to complete assemblies, and support general operations within a small, collaborative team. Responsibilities Assemble radiators that are compatible with electric vehicles by following written instructions and standardized procedures. Use hand and power tools, with a primary focus on wrenches, to complete assembly tasks accurately and safely. Verify that assembled components meet quality and compatibility requirements for electric vehicle applications. Operate forklifts, hand pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks as needed to move materials and finished products within the facility. Assist in other areas of the warehouse and production floor when not performing assembly work to support overall team productivity. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety guidelines and equipment handling procedures. Collaborate with a small team of approximately 1012 people to meet production goals and support ongoing operational needs. Essential Skills Experience with assembly work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Proficiency using hand and power tools, particularly wrenches, for mechanical assembly tasks. Ability to read and follow written instructions and assembly documentation accurately. Capability to operate forklifts, hand pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks or willingness to learn. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work effectively as part of a small team and assist in multiple areas as needed. Additional Skills & Qualifications Automotive experience or experience in automotive-related manufacturing is a plus. Work Environment This position is based in a warehouse setting that is described as very clean and recently updated, with new lighting and flooring already installed. The company is investing significantly in the building itself, including ongoing improvements such as renovated bathrooms and other facility upgrades. You will work on a small team of about 1012 people, using hand and power tools, forklifts, and both hand and electric pallet jacks. The standard schedule is a first-shift, four-day workweek of 10-hour days, running Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
