Senior Estimator

A growing civil construction contractor is seeking a Civil Estimator to join its team. The company specializes in earthwork, excavation, site development, underground utilities, grading, and paving projects throughout the region. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced estimator or a project engineer/project manager with estimating experience looking to move into a dedicated estimating role. Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates and bid proposals for civil construction projects Review plans, specifications, and contract documents Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for earthwork, excavation, utilities, grading, paving, and site development projects Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations Work closely with operations and project management teams during handoff and preconstruction Qualifications Experience in civil construction estimating, project engineering, project management, or a related field Background in: Earthwork, Excavation, Site development, Underground utilities, Grading, Asphalt paving, Heavy civil construction Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong organizational and communication skills Experience with estimating software is preferred but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
