Part-time Bus Driver

Description SANY's Syracuse Academy of Science is excited to announce the opening for a Part-Time Bus Driver. Immediate Supervisor Transportation/Operations Manager Primary Role and Purpose: Operate school bus that transports students and other authorized personnel to and from assigned destinations including but not limited to field trips, sporting events, and other school-related activities. Check the condition of vehicle tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, and all safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order. Qualifications: Must have valid Drivers License with Passenger School Bus Endorsement Fingerprint clearance through New York State Education Department CDL B or higher P endorsement (passenger) S endorsement (school bus) 3-year minimum school bus driving experience A clean driver's license required Flexibility (10-15 hours per week: days, nights, and weekends) Who We Are Science Academies of New York Charter Schools (SANY) is a unique K-12 school district serving the Syracuse and Utica, New York communities.
