Join Us as a CNC Setup & Optimization Specialist

Bring your expertise to a hands-on, on-site role where precision and productivity matter. You’ll be the go-to for set-ups, program tweaks, and quality checks that keep our parts on spec and our line moving.

Quick Facts

• Location: Mooresville, NC
• Work Arrangement: On-site
• Schedule: 2nd Shift, 1:45 PM–10:00 PM
• Compensation: $21 - $24 per hour (depending on skills and experience)
• Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly

Why You’ll Make an Impact

• Own end-to-end CNC set-ups and operations to hit throughput and quality targets.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and programming adjustments to boost machine performance.
• Interpret drawings, engineering specifications, and work instructions with confidence.
• Execute in-process inspections using required gaging and record all results accurately.
• Keep your cell audit-ready through 5S and strict adherence to safety, environmental, and quality systems.
• Champion continuous improvement and mentor junior team members.

What You’ll Need

• 2–5 years of CNC machining experience in a similar setting.
• Comfort operating with minimal oversight.
• Proven skill in diagnosing and correcting complex machine/process issues.
• Working knowledge of CNC tooling, offsets, and machining processes.
• Ability to read and apply blueprints/specs and follow work instructions.
• Intermediate math and strong written/verbal communication.
• Proficiency with required measurement and gaging tools.

Physical & Environmental Conditions

• Prolonged standing throughout the shift.
• Regular lifting to 50 lbs; pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending and stooping.
• Fine motor skills for handling small components.
• Active manufacturing environment with significant noise.
