Join a travel Physical Therapist opportunity in Alexandria, VA outpatient setting where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, supervising discipline-specific therapy services, and providing patient, family, and student education. The position requires adherence to professional standards, documentation requirements, and safety protocols.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Virginia state PT license required to start the assignment.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in outpatient physical therapy required.
• BLS certification required from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, write measurable goals, and complete timely documentation including letters of medical necessity and charge entry.
• Experience with outpatient clinic workflows and electronic medical record documentation.
• Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and provide student supervision when assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel therapy experience preferred.
• Familiarity with functional outcome measures and quality indicator assessment preferred.

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM daily.
• Work pattern: 5x8 schedule.
