Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver individualized treatment plans
• Administer medications and manage life-support equipment with precision
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery expectations

Knowledge & Skills

• Advanced cardiac monitoring
• Ventilator management
• IV therapy and medication administration
• Patient assessment and triage
• Electronic medical records documentation

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
