About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Internal Communications to play a pivotal role in the strategic management of internal messaging, with a focus on enhancing employee engagement, and reinforcing company culture. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive internal communications plan that aligns with the organization's mission and business objectives. This includes creating engaging content for various platforms, establishing communication standards, and leading the team in fostering a high-performing, remote work environment. The role also involves close collaboration with the executive team, particularly during times of change, to ensure that all internal communications are transparent, inspiring, and effective in supporting the company's goals. Applicants for the Vice President, Internal Communications position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in internal communications, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing internal communications for a remote or distributed workforce, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization. Experience in the higher education or edtech sectors is a plus, as is a background in leading executive communications and developing strategies for organizational transformation and change management. The role requires a leader who can inspire their team, drive strategic vision, and ensure operational excellence in all aspects of internal communication.
