Work Environment\n

This position offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while being part of a leading detox center. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be part of a dynamic team that supports individuals facing substance use challenges, providing them with the tools they need to achieve long-term recovery and well-being. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while adhering to a structured work week from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients presenting with mental health challenges, developing tailored care plans that address their unique needs and goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate meaningful change and improved mental health outcomes.

• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal compliance standards, ensuring client records are up to date and accessible for review.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including addiction specialists and psychiatric staff, to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care to clients.

• Educate clients and their families about available resources and treatment options, empowering them with information to make informed decisions about their care.
\n
• Innovate client care by incorporating new therapies and practices that enhance treatment effectiveness and engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals in a detox setting, many of whom face complex challenges related to substance use. This demographic often includes adults from diverse backgrounds, who may also be navigating co-occurring mental health disorders. The goal is to treat the whole person, addressing both their mental health and addiction issues, and to help them find stability and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution, along with an active LCSW license in California.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Ability to work independently while managing a varied caseload effectively, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or substance use setting, although candidates with less experience are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits\n
