Transactional Attorney

Job TitleServe as lead attorney in handling all aspects of transactional matters dealing with Business Law; Real Estate Law; and, Oil, Gas and Energy Law, as well as supervision of lawyers and paralegals within the Transaction Section of PRDG.Draft, review, and negotiate agreements and documents pertaining to our transactional clients.Due diligence in acquisitions, mergers, title, zoning, and/or environmental issuesNegotiate on behalf of clients.Provide strategic legal guidance and solutions to clients.Manage transactions from initiation through closing.Develop and review agreements with stakeholders, investors, sellers, purchasers, and joint venturesEnsure compliance with relevant regulations and contracts affecting real estate development, construction, entity formation, and entity governance.Provide legal advice on risk management strategies, contract enforcement, and dispute resolutionConduct legal research and stay informed of industry changes and evolving laws that impact the real estate and business sector.Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.Minimum Qualifications:Juris Doctor (J.D) degree.Admission to the Texas State Bar.2+ years’ experience in real estate and/or business lawThough having a board certification is not required, having or being on track to obtain board certification in Commercial Real Estate Law; Residential Real Estate; Farm and Ranch Real Estate Law; Construction Law; Property Owners Association Law; Oil, Gas and Mineral Law; and/or, Consumer and Commercial Law is preferred.Must have the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentStrong oral and written communication skillsProficient in legal research and writing.
