Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care to patients in a home hospice setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality nursing services to individuals in their homes, ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
Schedule
- Dayshift: 0800-1630, Monday through Friday
- No on-call or weekend requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a respectful and compassionate manner.
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families regarding care processes and health maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care activities using the Remote Client charting system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon and Washington.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Housing Recommendations
For candidates whose territory is guaranteed for the duration of the assignment, we recommend securing housing near a local hospital.
Travel Requirements
Coverage area includes the Portland Metro east and southwestern Washington regions. Average travel miles per day/week will be determined based on client assignment.
