Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the supervising licensed physical therapist to address patients’ rehabilitation goals. Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities designed to enhance physical function and promote recovery, including proper exercise instruction and progress monitoring. Apply various treatment modalities, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment parameters to optimize therapeutic outcomes. Educate patients and families on injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and pain and discomfort management techniques. Document patient progress and communicate regularly with the supervising physical therapist to provide updates and collaborate on treatment plan adjustments. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Current license/certification in the state of practice.
