- Our client is a rapidly growing manufacturer of power generation and industrial engine solutions and is adding a Plant Controller to its leadership team
- The role reports directly to senior finance leadership and serves as a key business partner to plant operations
- High-visibility position with direct exposure to executive leadership and strategic decision-making
- Opportunity to help drive operational performance, profitability, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Play a critical role in supporting a manufacturing facility that is experiencing significant growth and expansion
- Lead all plant accounting and financial reporting activities, including month-end close and financial statement preparation
- Partner with operations leadership to analyze manufacturing costs, labor efficiency, inventory, and plant performance metrics
- Develop and maintain annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
- Ensure accurate inventory accounting, cycle count programs, and physical inventory processes
- Monitor standard costs and support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support operational decision-making
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance staff within the facility
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience within a manufacturing environment
- Publicly traded experience would be nice to see
