Sheet Metal Worker

You will perform a variety of metal repair, fabrication, plan, layout and structural disassembly/assembly of aircraft and aircraft components. You will disassemble, repair, assemble, modify, measure, and/or check, as required, to process aircraft, aircraft engine structures, components, assembles, and/or sub-assemblies. You will analyze and troubleshoot aircraft metal structures and components to determine repair or replacement needs. You will work from drawings, manuals, technical directives, instructions and at times, under the guidance of a higher-graded mechanic. You will perform specialized work in aircraft systems that require advanced sheet metal skills, including hole-quality, cold working, and layout and design. #J-18808-Ljbffr
