Job Description:

The Adult Cardiac OR cares for a wide variety of patients. CABGs, TAVIs, and heart failure (VADs, ECMO, artificial heart, and heart transplants) to name a few. Using a multidisciplinary approach, the OR staff cares for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Independently circulate complex adult cardiac cases which may include CABGs, structural heart cases (Bentall), minimally invasive procedures (Mini Aortic Valve Replacement), and heart failure cases (Impella).
• Transplant, TAVI/TAVR experienced preferred but not required.

Requirements:

• RN License (NY License ONLY)
• Two (2) years experience
• Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma - preferred
• Able to circulate
• Telemetry
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
