Lead Technician, Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) – Evening Shift Responsibilities Perform complex repairs on aircraft systems Assist in creation of service orders with SAP or applicable operating systems May assist in complete engine and/or APU runs, as required Provide time estimates Train, coach and support other employees May perform Delegated Inspector (DI) function as qualified by QA Qualifications Typically, a minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experience Typically, a minimum of 1 year corporate / commercial jet experience Current, and valid, FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate Basic PC skills Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and/or aircraft status Own basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools Must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment qualifications as required Ability to work unscheduled overtime including non‑scheduled workdays and holidays Ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside Benefits Insurance plans (Dental, medical, life insurance, disability, and more) Competitive base salary Retirement savings plan Employee Assistance Program Tele Health Program Location: Hartford Service Center Shift: Evening Bombardier is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
