Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Nursing License: Must possess a valid and unrestricted nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Epic charting experience All required certifications Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in the Emergency Room. The nurse will work in a large Emergency Department with patients ranging from low acuity to high acuity. Patient care will include managing stroke cases, STEMI, trauma, and critically ill patients. The facility serves as a Level II adult trauma center and a Level III pediatric trauma center. Flexibility in scheduling and commitment to working weekends and holidays is required. Experience with Epic charting is essential for this role. The nurse will be expected to float to other units as needed. Care will include specialized procedures like arterial line management and procedural sedation administration. Candidates must have the ability to manage various emergency situations effectively.
