Quality Assurance Technician Full Time – Rocky Mount, VA, US 3 days ago – Requisition ID: 1156 Salary Range: $18.00 to $18.00 Hourly Job Title: Quality Technician Reports to: Quality Control Manager Primary Work Location: 515 Weaver St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151 Pay: $18.00 Hours: 6:45 AM – 5:30 PM Monday – Friday Responsibilities Records finished product weights, completes metal detector checks and case audit sheets, temperature checks, icing thickness measurements, in-process data, ensures customer specifications are being followed. Responsible for pre-operational checklist. Calibrate thermometers/scales and record results. Performs random raw material specification checks. Assist in verification of inbound freight & outbound freight. Records raw/undecorated cake temperature results. Report food safety/quality issues to the appropriate personnel. Follow and enforce all company safety, GMP, behavioral rules, and other policies in the employee handbook, help grow the food safety culture. Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Proactively supports the organization’s goals and objectives.
