Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical exams and comprehensive medical history assessments
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of diagnostic imaging and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide vital intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and assisting with instrument handoffs during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, and engaging in discharge planning and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus highly preferred

Certifications

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
