Direct Sales Consultant - Hobart

Overview The Direct Sales Consultant is responsible for the promotion and sale of Dobson Fiber products and services to residential customers in the Lawton, OK area. This role includes sales opportunities for sales to single family units and sales to multiple dwelling units through Dobson fiber’s relationships with property management. Responsibilities Residential Door-to-Door canvassing: visit approximately 800 residential homes per month. Represent Dobson Fiber at community events. Attend multi-family property sales events. Utilize advanced knowledge of Dobson’s products and services and sales process experience to maximize sales and effectively work assigned territories. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Dobson Fiber’s products, promoting and selling offerings to individual customers by visiting homes within the assigned territory; stay informed on features, benefits, product differences, and pricing of residential internet. Communicate effectively and develop rapport with customers; evaluate individual customers\' needs and make recommendations; explain Dobson Fiber\'s service, pricing, and competitive advantages. Acquire new residential customers through door-to-door contact from assigned leads. Create and execute turf management plans independently using experience-based sales techniques. Conduct proactive consultative needs analysis with new prospective customers. Develop and present sales presentations/proposals that meet customers\' needs. Accurately complete all necessary paperwork to support sales activities in accordance with quality control guidelines, including dispositioning, entering sales orders, and reporting on sales. Support team and team goals by participating in all sales meetings and training programs as assigned. Stay informed about competitors\' activities in the assigned territory and report any changes in pricing, marketing directives, or tactics to the manager. Perform other duties as requested by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications and Essential Functions High school diploma or equivalent. Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Proficient computer and technical skills to support customer solutions. Reliable personal vehicle (where applicable), valid driver license, car insurance, and satisfactory driving record. Must meet the physical requirements of the job including the ability to walk and travel door-to-door for considerable distances in various weather conditions. Ability to work full time. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, punctual attendance; ability to work nights and weekends on a variable schedule as necessary. Familiarity with computer operating systems and software applications as well as consumer and commercial communication devices (e.g., PDAs, smartphones, routers, modems, set-top converters, and wireless devices). Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
