Senior Snowflake Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-scale data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, dbt, Python, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing, with experience building scalable data pipelines and modern cloud-based data platforms.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions using Snowflake, dbt, and Python.
- Build and optimize high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines and enterprise data warehouse solutions.
- Design and implement scalable data models to support analytics and business intelligence.
- Optimize data processing, storage, and query performance within Snowflake.
- Leverage Cortex AI/GenAI capabilities for code generation, data validation, and pipeline optimization.
- Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise data solutions.
- Lead technical design, implementation, and delivery of data engineering projects.
- Mentor development teams and promote best practices in data engineering, CI/CD, and data governance.
- Ensure high-quality, secure, and production-ready data solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Python.
- Expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline development and enterprise data warehousing.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data transformation, and performance optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and data governance best practices.
- Exposure to Snowflake Cortex AI or Generative AI capabilities is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
- Experience with DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Snowflake certifications are a plus.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
