What You'll Do

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through record review and clinical interviews with inmates
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on inmate needs
• Document treatment activities accurately in confidential health records
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling to address immediate mental health needs
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive inmate information
• Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques effectively within your caseload
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote inmate mental wellness

What You Need

• Active CA license: LCSW or LPCC
• Minimum of 1 year experience in mental health counseling or assessment
• Strong understanding of psychological counseling techniques
• Ability to work independently within a correctional environment
• Excellent communication and confidentiality skills
