Overview Shift Manager in Training at McDonald’s – responsible for leading shifts, ensuring quality service, and guiding crew and managers during operations. Responsibilities Plan each shift and monitor performance throughout the shift. Ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards for food safety, quality, service, and cleanliness. Monitor safety, security, and profitability. Communicate with other Shift Managers and crew; motivate, delegate, and coach the team. Complete assigned cleanliness and maintenance tasks. Lead the experience by overseeing crew and managers during the shift. Support training, education, and continuous learning within the restaurant. Qualifications Previous managerial experience, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Minimum age 18 years. Strong customer‑service focus and ability to communicate effectively. Ability to provide solutions and make decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
