Registered Nurse (RN) Ambulatory Surgery Center Full Time Day

Job Overview Since 1882, Jersey City Medical Center has provided state‑of‑the‑art medical treatment across various disciplines in Hudson County. This ambulatory surgery center is dedicated to delivering high‑quality patient care and maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Provide nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. Ensure safety in practice and adhere to evidence‑based guidelines. Report safety issues such as hazardous environments and medical errors. Maintain knowledge of the patient population served. Supervise and delegate tasks to appropriate team members and collaborate with other patient care providers. Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes toward improvement. Utilize the nursing process to individualize care plans. Qualifications Required: ADN. OR RN with minimum of 2 years of experience. Strong communication and organizational skills. Proficient computer skills. Preferred: BSN. OR Nurse circulator experience. Certifications and Licenses Required Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement. BLS from the American Heart Association. ACLS. PALS. CNOR. Scheduling Requirements Day Shift, 35.3 hours per week (8:00 AM‑4:00 PM). Full Time. Monday–Friday, rotating holidays.
