Part Time | Days (6:45am - 3pm) | Evenings (2:45pm - 11pm) | Nights (10:45pm - 7am)

Pool/PRN

Pay: $26.54 - $32/hr (based on experience)

PLUS Shift Premiums for Evenings ($3.50) and Nights ($2.50)

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will carry out our Mission of Love by coordinating, delegating, and administering total care for residents on a specified shift and unit.

Our Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for the following:

• Working with all nursing personnel to develop comprehensive care plans based on an accurate initial assessment of resident needs and strengths
• Providing work schedules and assignments to a group of non-exempt employees or a small group of professionals
• Conducting performance reviews, recommends and may conduct disciplinary action and resolution.

To qualify as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) you will need:

• A Temporary Practice Permit for a Graduate Practical Nurse or an LPN License.
• Current CPR certification.
• A sincere interest in and concern for quality of care for the elderly and for those with limited physical and/or mental capacity.
• Effective communication orally and in writing with supervisors, subordinates, peers, residents and their families, visitors to the facility, and other departmental personnel.
• Sound nursing judgment in the performance of responsibilities.
• The ability to analyze the effectiveness of medication and treatments and the potential for adverse reactions.
• Long-term care experience, preferred.
