Details General Emergency Department serving combined adult and pediatric patients Patient ratio of 1:4 Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active GA or Compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Epic charting system experience required Skills required: IV therapy/phlebotomy, arterial line management, respiratory care of ventilated patients, interpretation of ABGs, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and multisystem organ dysfunction/failure care required Experience with isolation precautions/PPE and triage required Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Central line care/management skills preferred Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) required Additional Information Provide emergency care to a combined adult and pediatric patient population Perform triage and manage patients requiring cardiac monitoring and emergency response Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with all RTO finalized at time of submission No RTO permitted during orientation week Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate First-time travelers will not be considered for this unit Previous Piedmont employees (perm, per diem, or FCSS) must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before applying as a traveler Returning travelers who were previously unable to complete an assignment at a Piedmont facility must complete one successful assignment elsewhere before rebooking Shift and schedule as listed are firm with no alternate requests permitted Travel pairs cannot be assigned to the same shift on the same unit American Traveler Job ID P-749672.
