Security Administrator

Security Administrator This is an onsite position at our Tampa, FL office. The Security Administrator supports the company's security team in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD directives, and internal security policies. This role is responsible for day-to-day support to the Facility Security Officer (FSO) and the security team on key compliance and operational functions, as well as ensuring the proper handling, protection, control, and documentation of classified information. Essential Functions Provide general administrative and operational support to the Security team. Administer and maintain security records, documentation, and databases. Process personnel security clearance actions. Support the execution and maintenance of security program elements. Assist with implementation of security procedures and protective measures. Conduct and track security training. Maintain visitor logs, access rosters, badge control, and secure area entry. Support the FSO in preparing for security reviews and inspections. Assist with managing security incidents and investigations. Draft and update security manuals, procedures, and internal communications. Maintain strict accountability of classified materials. Qualifications and Competencies Familiarity with NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, and DoD security requirements. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Working knowledge of Operational Security (OPSEC) and Insider Threat Program fundamentals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security management systems. Education / Certifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience 3+ years of experience in security administration, physical security, or a related field. Experience working with personnel security systems (DISS, NBIS, e-APP) preferred. Prior experience supporting an FSO or security team in an industrial security environment. Experience administering or supporting security training programs. Physical Requirements Frequently required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment. Occasionally required repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Security Clearance Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.
