Technical Trainer

Manager – Technical Search Practice at Venteon Technical Trainer Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Technical Trainer to fill an opening with a Construction Company located in Metro Detroit. Must have experience with developing and delivering training modules, ideally in a technical field. Base pay range $65,000.00/yr – $85,000.00/yr Requirements of the Technical Trainer Bachelor’s degree in Education, Technology, Instructional Design, or related field Experience in technical training or instructional design Excellent communication and presentation skills Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), training software, and content development tools Experience developing SOPs and operational training for technical or field-based teams Experience with fiber optics, low voltage systems or technical field work preferred Ability to design interactive, scenario-based, and blended learning experiences Responsibilities of the Technical Trainer Design and develop engaging, scalable training programs tailored to employees at various technical levels. Maintain up-to-date training content that reflects new technologies, standards, and best practices. Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and hands‑on demonstrations. Manage training schedules, enrollment, and logistics across multiple teams and locations. Create and maintain comprehensive training materials, including manuals, standard operating procedures (SOP), guides, checklists, and multimedia content. Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME’s) to translate technical concepts into clear, user‑friendly materials. Promote knowledge sharing across teams through best‑practice documentation and job aids.
