Director of Product: Take Profit Trader

Role Description

Join Serv, a global executive recruitment partner, as we hire on behalf of our client TakeProfitTrader for a Director of Product. Take Profit Trader is a high-growth proprietary trading firm handling hundreds of millions of dollars in trading volume. This role is ideal for someone who can operate in a fast-moving fintech environment with complex backend systems and high customer impact.

You will work closely with executive leadership, engineering, operations, compliance, support, analytics, and delivery teams to:

• Identify business needs
• Research opportunities
• Define product requirements
• Help shape the future direction of the platform

This is a highly hands-on role for someone who wants to be deeply involved in understanding the business, the industry, and the customer experience. You will be expected to:

• Research the prop trading and fintech landscape
• Monitor competitors and market trends
• Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Help define what should be built and why

The Director of Product will work closely with the CTO and executive leadership on prioritization and product direction.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience in SaaS, fintech, trading, brokerage, or other highly technical environments
• 2+ years of leadership experience
• Prior experience working within proprietary trading, brokerage, trading technology, fintech, or closely related financial markets environments
• Strong understanding of trading workflows, trading platforms, risk systems, and operational processes within trading or brokerage environments
• Experience leading cross-functional product initiatives
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, backend systems, APIs, integrations, and platform architecture concepts
• Experience working closely with engineering teams in agile development environments
• Strong ability to translate business problems, operational processes, and customer needs into structured product requirements and technical workflows
• Experience managing multiple competing priorities across operational, technical, and customer-facing initiatives
• Strong organizational skills and ability to operate effectively in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across executive, operational, and technical teams
• Experience defining KPIs, operational metrics, and product success measurements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to product decision-making
• Experience conducting competitor research, market analysis, and product discovery within fast-moving industries

Requirements

• Experience working with complex backend operational systems, rules engines, risk systems, and highly automated platform environments
• Experience working with trading platforms, Order Management Systems (OMS), payment systems, KYC/compliance platforms, CRM systems, or other operational fintech infrastructure
• Experience working within analytics, BI, or highly data-driven product environments
• Experience helping scale product processes, operational workflows, and platform capabilities within high-growth technology companies
• Experience collaborating with distributed, offshore, or multi-regional engineering teams
