Automotive Body Technician

As an Automotive Body Technician at McCluskey Chevrolet you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various auto body issues, restoring vehicles to their optimal condition.

A short list of your tasks and responsibilities:

• Properly read and supplement repair estimates
• Restore structural dimensions and integrity to the collision damaged vehicles
• Use measuring and frame equipment to diagnose damage and return damaged frame or unibody parts to manufacturer's specifications
• Use hand tools and power tools to remove or repair damaged parts, weld as needed, and properly install new parts
• Work with a variety of metals and plastics, as well as glass, electrical and mechanical parts
• Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts for repairs
• Research repair information as needed

We're looking for a self-starter who meets the following qualifications:

• 3 years of experience as a collision/body technician
• I-CAR and aluminum certification preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
